School of Power Institute (SOPI)

School of Power Institute (SOPI) is a Christian Ministry School. Divine Empowerment Centre is committed to equipping effective followers of Christ and producing well-trained leaders who are able to lead others in life, family and ministry.

SOPI places a high importance on identifying, equipping and releasing people with a Ministry Gift into Christian service and leadership within the Local Church, community and throughout the world.

Each of our students will be taught the fundamentals of the faith in a way that will transform their lives and character, and truly prepare them to fulfil the call of God in their lives.

SOPI has been designed specifically with the growth of congregational members of Divine Empowerment Centre Church in mind. Therefore, its unique curriculum and desired outcomes is tailor made to fulfil the Biblical mandate as clearly stated in:

Mat 28:19-20  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. 

Students who successfully complete the courses will be commissioned, ordained and released to serve in different churches and ministries.

Pastor Peter Jackson Oburu

Apostle Peter Jackson Oburu is the Founder/ Overseer/ Senior Pastor of Divine Empowerment Centre Church-Hqs. He is an Apostle by calling and a Lawyer by training, he is a Dynamic Teacher and Preacher of God’s word, his ministration is characterized by the Demonstration of the Spirit and Power with notable Deliverance, Healing & Miracles. His insatiable hunger for God’s presence and power ignites his congregation with prayer fire. He is also the author of several Christian books and has had the opportunity of traveling to several countries to preach the gospel. He is married to Pr. Betty with whom they are blessed with Natalie Agnes Mich and Nathan Goodness Kiisa.
